Obstetrician Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist

Prof Sadiah Ahsan Pal is a renowned Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist. After graduating from Dow Medical College, she did her postgraduate training in the UK. After passing her MRCOG in 1994, she was subsequently awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologist; a former Member of its International Representative Committee for Pakistan. She is an Academic Board member & Ex-Vice- President of the Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Pakistan (SOGP).

She practices at OMI Hospital, Medicell Clinic, New Beginnings & Concept Fertility Center (Australian IVF center) Karachi. Performs all kinds of Obstetric and gynaecological surgical operations, including IVF and laparoscopic (key hole) surgery.

She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Pakistan Medical Association (JPMA); Chairperson ‘Maternal and Fetal Health Committee’, SAFOG (South Asian federation of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists). She is also an Executive Committee Member and Joint Secretary of AMAN (Association for Mothers & Newborns); Member of the National Committee of Maternal & Neonatal Health of Pakistan (NCMNH), & MAP (Midwifery Association of Pakistan); Member Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons (SOLES) of Pakistan.

Conducts regular training Workshops on Colposcopy, VIA & Cervical Cancer Prevention, Contraception, PPIUCD, MVA, Values Clarification & Attitude Transformation (VCAT) in Reproductive Health, EmONC. She has authored numerous articles in national & international journals, and developed guidelines and Training Manuals.
